MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow expects that america will facilitate the assembly of the consultative fee on the Strategic Arms Discount Treaty (New START) in 2023, Russian Overseas Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Tuesday.
“We count on america to make good-faith efforts to create situations for holding a session of the bilateral consultative fee in 2023 and return to full-scale implementation of all of the provisions of the New START,” Zakharova stated on Telegram.
Moscow made the choice to postpone the assembly of the bilateral fee, which was scheduled for November 29 to December 6, as a result of unfavourable Russia-US relations, the diplomat defined.
“In all instructions we be aware the best stage of toxicity and hostility from Washington. Inside the framework of the entire hybrid warfare unleashed in opposition to us, nearly each step of america in relation to Russia is subjected to a morbid want to hurt our nation wherever attainable,” Zakharova stated.
