(CBS DETROIT) – A person from Detroit was “elated” when he found he received a $100,000 Powerball Prize, in line with Michigan Lottery officers.

Sheadrick Stephens Jr., 75, matched the 4 white balls and the Powerball – 09-21-56-57-66 PB:11 – within the Aug. 3 drawing to win $50,000.
The prize was multiplied to $100,000 due to the Energy Play.
Stephens Jr., bought his ticket on the Meijer retailer, positioned at 28800 Telegraph Highway in Southfield.

“I play Powerball usually and all the time verify the numbers on-line after the drawing,” stated Stephens Jr. “After I checked my ticket and realized I’d received $100,000, I used to be elated!”
He visited the Michigan Lottery headquarters to assert his prize and says he plans to share his winnings together with his household.
The Powerball jackpot was final received on Aug. 3. A ticket that was bought in Pennsylvania received $206.9 million.
At present, the Powerball jackpot stands at $56 million.
